The CZ 600 American is a bolt action rifle that reflects a long tradition of quality hunting firearms. It features a distinctly American style stock crafted from high grade Turkish walnut with an attractive laminated finish. Finely cut checkering on the grip and forend, accented by fleur-de-lis motifs, provides a secure hold and classic appearance.

All metal components receive a glossy black finish that resists corrosion and weather exposure. The innovative controlled feed system uses a short extractor for reliable feeding and extraction in any position, including rapid fire. A short 60 degree bolt throw clears larger riflescope ocular bells and supports faster cycling, while a vertical tang mounted safety allows quiet engagement and disengagement.

The cold hammer forged 24 inch barrel is threaded 9/16x24 and carries a sub-MOA guarantee at 100 meters. A lockable magazine system permits use as either a fixed or detachable magazine rifle.
